As our Senior Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
Providing delivery of business transformation projects and technology consulting services for next-generation solutions to external customers
Providing resource support and technical project leadership in design, implementation, and support of complex solutions within given area of technology expertise - Microsoft Cloud.
Delivering design, implementation and support services to respective technology customers
Leading professional Services engagements in areas of product focus
Interfacing with clients and Sales team to determine business requirements of customers and corresponding solutions within Softchoice capabilities
Positioning additional services and products with clients where appropriate
Implementing solutions based upon agreed design
Providing emergency support to Customer Engineering, Management, and Sales teams
Delivering varied duration projects for clients in multiple industry verticals
Earning trusted advisor status with customers
Performing system design and solution delivery engagements, including creation of documentation for presentations to clients
Troubleshooting operational problems by using variety of hardware/software techniques
Partnering with customers to align business objectives with technologies and help build long-term technical plans and delivery customer excellence
Testing and validating new software and hardware prior to moving into production
Mentoring junior Systems Engineers in product focus area
As our ideal candidate, you'll also have:
Post-Secondary Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in Microsoft infrastructure engineering which includes design, implementation, troubleshooting, and operations
Demonstrated experience providing technology consulting and solutions delivery capacity
Experience performing technology assessments, including documentation and presentation of results Ability to travel 25%-30% of the time
Requirements for technology expertise areas:
Integration and migration experience both on-premises and Office365 in relation to Exchange (Hybrid)
