Job Summary

This position will perform general administrative duties for the production department and office. Individual will perform routine clerical functions, office and accounting functions and may support more than one department simultaneously.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all company accounting policies and procedures
  • Accurately prepare vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, assist Accounts Payable with RNI report, etc
  • Performs a variety of clerical work involving standardized forms, reports, data, filing: production reporting, yardage reports, rental equipment tracking
  • Assist in site physical inventory counts
  • Sets up new vendor requests and updates requests
  • Routes incoming mail, prepares outgoing mail and correspondence or other printed materials
  • Greet visitors, sign in guests, visitor orientation, dispense PPE to guests
  • Orders and maintains supplies, organize company luncheon/events
  • Answer phone calls and route calls as needed, print/scan documents, faxing, etc
  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Requirements / Education / Experience

  • High school diploma, Associate's degree preferred, or equivalent and one to two years office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of manufacturing facilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft office, Excel)
  • Ability to communicate with employees, peers, supervisors, vendors and customer in an effective manner
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and have problem-solving and reasoning skills
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations such as add, subtract, multiply, divide and compute rate and ratio
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables with little or no structure
  • Internal and external customer service oriented
  • Ability to work independently


Physical Environment

  • Ability to perform sedentary work, occasional walking, standing, squatting, and bending required
  • Ability to lift up to 25 to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged sitting, repetitive use of fingers and hands for typing
  • Available to work overtime as necessary
  • May be required to work under stressful conditions
