Job Description:

Position Purpose:

This position is primarily responsible for managing important aspects related to:


  • quarterly earnings releases and conference calls

  • external messaging and products

  • shareholder contact and communications

  • shareholder analysis and other duties

Key Responsibilities

Quarterly Earnings Releases and Conference Calls


  • Assist in drafting earnings release, CEO/CFO remarks and presentation

  • Review and develop supporting materials

External Messaging and Products


  • Assist in developing and updating core IR messaging around the company and industry, including press releases, presentations and executive remarks

  • Assist in preparation of annual meeting, including presentation and script development

  • Manage changes and updates to IR website

Shareholder Contact and Communications


  • Serve as key contact for Peabody’s retail investor base and answer questions on stock price movements, industry trends and Peabody activities

  • Work with Director and Senior Vice President to communicate with broader institutional investor base through active participation in analyst conferences, non-deal roadshows, office visits and phone calls

Shareholder Analysis


  • Assist with researching and analyzing company shareholder base to reach targeted investors and maximize use of management availability

  • Work closely with outside vendor to ensure proper investor tracking, monitor event progress and maintain sell-side analyst list

Other Duties


  • Collaborate with Sr. Coordinator on investor events calendar and offer recommendations for management participation

  • Other ad hoc duties as necessary

  • Ability to self-prioritize various projects that may be in progress simultaneously

  • Ability to work at both detailed and summary level on projects and assignments with speed and accuracy

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to present self clearly and articulately to all levels of management

  • Complete special projects and non-routine assignments as may be required

  • Occasional overtime

  • Position requires a bachelor’s degree at a minimum as well as 3- 5 years of related work experience

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
