Doctor s Hospital is located in Augusta, Georgia, the state s second largest and oldest city, and is home of the annual Masters Golf Tournament. Doctors Hospital is nationally known for our Burn Center, the largest in the U.S. We have also been recognized as a top performing hospital by the Joint Commission, Cancer Center accredited by the American College of Surgeons, Chest Pain Accredited, earned the Joint Commission's certificate of distinction for total hip and total knee replacement and spinal fusion surgery, and we are the only CARF accredited facility in our area. We are a level 3 trauma and emergency center.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for obtaining pre-op history and assessment, providing pre-op instruction/education, and obtaining EKG, Labs, CXR, Cardiac and Pulmonary clearance when required by the anesthesia provider and/or surgeon in support of the Mission Statement of Doctors Hospital. Duties can include acting as Chart Manager to assure completion of chart prior to surgery.
* Graduate with an ADN or BSN
* Active GA RN license
* BLS is required through American Heart Association
* ACLS & PALS are required within 1 year of hire.
* A minimum of 1 year of RN experience is required.
