Title: Technical Program Manager

Location: 7575 Gateway Boulevard, Suite 300, Newark, CA 94560

Duties: Lead cross-functional models and data, product management, and software development project teams to plan and deliver model solutions using Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile methodologies. Create and manage project plans using MS Project, Smartsheet, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Trello, and related. Coordinate cross-functional product management, model development and software development scope and requirements review and sign-off. Create and monitor project plan, highlighting critical milestones for component development, model calibration, model certification, and product acceptance testing. Ensure that project team has sufficient compute and storage resources to complete development, calibration, and testing. Host and facilitate weekly project team meetings to track progress and provide status reports to senior management. Track, assess, and mitigate project risks as they arise. Escalate risks and issues to senior management when appropriate. Partner with model and software integration leads to ensure successful platform and application integration and client release. Manage project resource tracking and reporting for Models and Data Organization. Drive process adherence by following up with Models and Data Org senior leadership to ensure compliance. Partner with finance and software development teams to define and implement process and tool enhancements. Host and facilitate monthly project reviews with Models and Data Org's senior leadership. Perform data analysis and custom reporting using Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and related. Identify, scope, and lead process improvement projects within Models and Data Organization. Assess and document current processes. Suggest areas that need improvements to increase efficiency. Propose new or revised processes and obtain buy-in and approval from stakeholder. Map old process to new process, train end users on new processes, and facilitate roll out. Collaborate with other project/program managers on cross-project dependencies for larger programs, with complex upstream and downstream dependencies. Identify resource and functional dependencies for projects, including timing requirements. Review with other project managers and Models and Data Org leaders to ensure availability of those resources. Escalate unmitigated risks to senior management.

Requirements: Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus at least three (3) years of experience as a Technical Lead, Program Manager, or in a related engineering or project management position/role working in project/program management. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in an acceptable field as stated above plus at least five (5) years of experience. Must have experience with the following: facilitating planning, backlog grooming, meetings, reviews/demos, and retrospectives; applying knowledge of project/program management techniques, including waterfall, Agile, or PMI/PMBok; maintaining and monitoring resource reporting tools and processes; coordinating across functional groups to manage dependencies and utilizing advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; utilizing project management tools, including Rally, Jira, Smartsheet, or related; working with Azure and software development; managing program scope, schedule, and budgets; transforming data to actional information using business intelligence tool(s) such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik; and leading senior teams of scientists, engineers, and subject matter experts.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $163,571 to $163,571, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
