Title: Director - Software Engineer

Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007

Duties: Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand requirements across multiple applications or one large complex application platform, with special focus on items that need to be configurable or customizable. Work with senior leaders in business to understand product roadmaps and assist with an aligned architectural vision. Set architectural direction for broad engineering team within a particular line of business. Develop technology roadmap that communicates long term plans for technology adoption and end of life events. Provide feedback on product roadmaps and ensure that technology roadmap is considered. Communicate, evangelize, and enforce architectural standards. Design application frameworks. Research technologies and direct POC development, to ensure feasibility. Communicate architectural vision across functional areas. Participate in architecture and design reviews for projects that require complex technical solutions. Think strategically and align team with overall vision of business. Communicate architectural standards. Participate in researching, reviewing, and making recommendations on any new enterprise software applications from a perspective of design, integration, and technical fit with other systems. Research, analyze, and recommend new technologies and software applications to meet the product and application needs. Propose and establish standard technology framework to be leveraged by various applications and products to achieve maximum reusability, robustness, and maintainability. Use collaboration skills, with focus on strong working relationships with all functional units of organization. Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions and account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources, and scope.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field plus at least seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, or in a related position. Must have experience with the following: developing and architecting Middleware solutions; defining architecture for large enterprise applications, including focusing on building microservices deployable in Kubernetes platform and ensuring application scalability and high availability; working with application integration to achieve business goals; defining clear interfaces for core services that can be integrated within different application; working with business teams to gather business requirements and translating them into Techno-functional requirements by collaborating with all required stakeholders; implementing software upgrades and technical changes; creating high-level and low-level design documents detailing the specifics of the interface, applications, and integration platform; and applying advanced knowledge and working with multi-tier applications, including database and batch and real time integration development technologies and practices.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $147,285 to $258,750, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
