The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.



Holman is currently accepting applications for the role of Manager- Supply Chain




Primary Tasks:



  • Lead and manage an operational team, including collaboration with key business partners, to ensure Holman exceeds customer expectations and delivers world class supply chain support.

  • Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.

  • Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.

  • Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and customer service levels; implements subsequent changes to processes.

  • Analyzes current procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.

  • Assesses the need for staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient allocation of resources. Oversees all personnel related issues pertaining to the department:

    • Hires and trains departmental supervisors.

    • Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.

    • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

    • Handles performance management and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.



  • Participates as an advisory member of the product development & procurement teams, providing information and guidance on products, services, and/or vendors.

  • Acts as part of the team coordinating process changes, or new product/services to ensure timely implementations and continuity of service.

  • Supports procurement in monitoring the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and performance requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.



  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.




Relevant Work Experience:



  • 5+ years' experience in fleet management and/or supply chain management, including 2+ at a leadership level

  • Experience leading large teams, including other leaders, and driving results through others.

  • Developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy




Education and/or Training:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; Master's degree preferred

  • Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus

  • Demonstrated competency in computer software to include databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.

  • Advanced capability and experience with MS Excel or equivalent systems.

Pay:



We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $112,160.00 - $176,645.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
