Resideo's Customer Experience department is currently seeking a talented and passionate Tradeshow and Event Engagement Manager to spearhead our tradeshow marketing strategies. This role will be responsible for creating immersive environments where our brand can showcase our products, services, and innovations. Through captivating booth designs, interactive displays, and engaging presentations, attendees will be drawn into an experiential journey where hands-on demonstrations and personal interactions foster connections and opportunities that extend beyond the event.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing major industry trade shows supporting our HVAC, Plumbing, Security and Electrical businesses, as well as mid-size, regional or industry specific shows in the U.S. and EMEA markets.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Loyalty and Engagement, this role will be measured on building awareness, lead generation, cost per lead, engagement, qualified sales opportunities, and ROI. Instrumental to the success of this role is working closely with Sales, Marketing, PR/Communications, Product Management, Procurement, Finance, and other functions to achieve our objectives at all levels within the organization.

JOB DUTIES:


  • Develop a detailed understanding of Resideo's Products & Services business, establishing event goals and objectives and acting as a key strategic partner to the business and product teams.
  • Develop detailed, cross-functional marketing strategy for top industry-leading tradeshows inclusive of product launches, earned media, social media, communication/email, and advertising campaigns.
  • Act as liaison between organizers and internal teams ensuring concepts and execution meet mutually agreed upon objectives and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to understand goals and translate them into compelling visual concepts.
  • Seek and coordinate enhanced marketing opportunities to showcase company and our mission such as speakers, panel participation, earned media, and social amplification.
  • Manage internal socialization and approval process across key stakeholders.
  • Manage tradeshow budget including allocation, forecasting, and reconciliation of dollars.
  • Maintain high degree of documentation including contracts, communications, and commitments.
  • Coordinate and/or guide the process for travel, accommodations, and registering internal and external attendees, as appropriate.
  • Provide and/or oversee on-site management such as booth set-up and take down, booth staffing, meeting room schedules, and issue resolution.
  • Continuously evaluate new tradeshow opportunities and performance of existing tradeshows; providing recommendations to improve return-on-investment while achieving our evolving, strategic business priorities.

MUST-HAVES:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, project management, communications, or similar.
  • 5+ years of Tradeshow and Special Event management, or related experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Expertise in Microsoft tools, Salesforce.com, Workfront, and related Lead Generation tools.
  • Excellent financial management abilities including budgeting, forecasting, and procurement.
