The Transformation Office is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to support the Transformation team in operationalizing and implementing firm's vision, mission, and long-term strategy with the senior executives and leadership teams. – to include planning, coaching, guiding and facilitating both agile and waterfall teams to implement and track execution against planned outcomes and baseline success criteria. Someone adept at being a generalist –part program manager, part agile coach, part execution support – will be the best fit for this role in our Transformation Office (TO).

Senior Scrum Masters at Edward Jones are servant leaders that support and enable teams to stay focused and foster an environment for relentless improvement and continuous learning. They collaborate and work closely with their team, business owners, project leaders, product delivery managers, and other Scrum Masters. Senior Scrum Masters know how to coach their teams well and guide them to becoming high performing teams and serve as model examples for Scrum Masters. They should value principles over practices.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the transformation team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making supporting organizational programs, projects or product teams.


• Work daily with Transformation Workstream Owners, Business & Project Leaders


• Facilitate and support: Program & Project Planning, Execution support, Team Agreements, Daily Scrums, team activities activating program management and other scrum events as requested


• Identify, examine, monitor, and resolve issues and risks; identify mitigation strategies and communicate with the team.

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.


• Experience in program/project management required
  


• 
  4+ years PMO experience as a program/project manager


• 1+ years of experience as a Scrum Master; Certified Scrum Master


• Outstanding ability to facilitate and communicate, negotiate, and coach Sr. Leaders and leaders at the Portfolio, Product and Team levels.


• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills


• Working understanding of Program/Product Management methodologies, techniques, and agile frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban, to deliver solutions.


• Excellent people and program management skills.

• Waterfall preferred


• SAFe preferred
