We are seeking to add a Production Technician to our team on our 1st shift. The Production Technician is responsible for performing light secondary work and ensuring these processes are executed efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

What you will do:


  • Work under the general direction of the department supervisor with a minimum of supervision
  • Perform light secondary deburring, washing, cleaning, grinding, and straightening of parts
  • Perform drilling, cutting, tapping, buffing, press work, and simple machining
  • Run machinery following all processes and procedures, including soap/detergent usage, coating mixtures, oven temperatures, cure times, waste cleanup, and more.
  • Transfer material and parts from one location to another, including loading parts into machinery properly
  • Work from blueprints and other technical documents
  • Check finished items for quality
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Perform all other duties as directed or required.

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Versatility is required to perform varied assembly and soldering operations manually
  • Must have reasonable dexterity in hands to manipulate small parts
  • Ability to read blueprints and measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers preferred

Additional characteristics:

  • Work as both an individual contributor and in a team environment
  • Requires the ability to lift 25-55 lbs. occasionally, 10-25lbs. frequently
  • May require standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, up to 8-10 hours per day
  • Requires good manual dexterity and visual acuity
  • May be exposed to various industrial cleaning chemicals and oils
