YOUR ROLE

• Ensures the full potential of the Regional Basket Supply Base can be identified and assessed
• Challenges and enriches the Material Groups goals and strategies, including all short, mid and long term financial targets and any risk mitigation strategies
• Guarantees full achievement of regional basket targets by best in class execution of strategies and action plans and implements best business partnerships in close cooperation with the regional Purchasing Key Account Managers
• Aligns and cooperates with Regional Supply Organization to mitigate risk in supply chain, contributing towards overall operational excellence
• Supports North American Manufacturing foot print in maintenance in operational needs

YOUR SKILLS

• MBA degree with a minimum of three years of related Purchasing experience or Bachelor's degree with five years of experience.
• Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated flexibility to adapt to different situations.
• Market knowledge including supplier base, general industry information and cost drivers.
• Expert knowledge of good Purchasing practices, contract law as it applies to the Procurement process, and Supply Chain Management.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to influence and convince stakeholders to support category objectives/roadmaps.
• Advanced Excel. Power BI experience considered.
• The salary range for this role is $72,600 to $105,200. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Connecticut. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
