Kforce has a client in East Rutherford, NJ that is seeking a Retail Sales Manager.
Summary:
The Retail Sales Manager is a key position in our organization and an integral part of the produce supply chain. The Retail Sales Manager's primary responsibilities are to sell fresh produce, manage inventories, set pricing, and work to achieve short-term goals that change daily based on the needs of our growers and what the market dictates.
Key responsibilities of the Retail Sales Manager include, but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain relationships with customers
Maximize sales with existing customers while also identifying and securing new business opportunities
Retail Sales Manager will manage inventory by allocating in tight or over-supplied markets
Proactively anticipate and manage customer needs and expectations
Collaborate with Sales, Buying, Operations, and Trucking departments to confirm that orders are processed and delivered to meet customer expectations
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong negotiations skills and ability to balance customer and company needs to drive profit margins
Ability to work in a competitive and fast-paced environment
An outgoing personality and the ability to think critically and outside the box
Passionate about providing great customer service
Self-motivated to achieve sales goals and meet deadlines, both personally and collectively as a team
Fully understand the ins and outs of your customers to best service them
Willingness to learn, be open and take on new responsibilities
Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
