The Senior Financial Analyst – Accounting Policy will take part in technical accounting research, interpretation and implementation of new and existing U.S. GAAP accounting pronouncements. This position will assist in the development, documentation, and update of accounting policies for the organization. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst will monitor and communicate the status of emerging accounting guidance and potential impacts to the organization, and assist with the implementation of new accounting standards and interpretations. Additionally, this position will assist in the development of presentations to senior management and the Audit Committee.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a dedicated resource to serve as a technical accounting expert to individuals across the organization, and will assist in responding to inquiries related to new transactions, corporate initiatives, new products, and application of accounting standards. The position will participate in the research of complex technical accounting issues and development of recommendations in accordance with the organization’s accounting policies and practices, as well as authoritative accounting standards. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will assist with monitoring accounting policy compliance throughout the organization, and evaluation and documentation of accounting policy exceptions.      

This position reports to the Vice President-Senior Manager, Accounting Policy & Financial Control and will interact and work directly with senior management of the Company, including the Senior Vice President of Financial Reporting, Policy & Control and Corporate Controller.
