The Regional Quality Data Steward creates and maintains Quality master data for any site (Manufacturing, EEM and Affiliates), utilizing established processes and serves as a key technical resource at the operational level, providing guidance to local QM (QA/QC), and other supporting departments The Regional Quality Data Steward drives master data solutions and ensures GxP compliant master data maintenance processes leading to consistent and accurate master data across the organization.

Functions

• Executing key data maintenance and data design for master data in SAP and associated systems


• Investigate data issues


• Determining impact of changes while ensuring data consistency and conformance to Standard Operating Procedures. 


• Identifying and participating in or leading process improvement initiatives which could include:

• Troubleshooting SAP (or level 3 system) execution problems (which could include logging formal IT incidents), identifying root causes, and implementing solutions


• Investigating deviations and providing impact assessments for change management.


• Contributing to global initiatives for Quality Master Data Management as required and attending select power user forums to share best practices with peers.

• Supporting the implementation of new SAP releases and changes to scope and processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (quality (QA/QC) or computer systems) 


• Knowledge in ERP software (preferably SAP)

• Demonstrated ability to analyze, anticipate, and resolve complex issues (technical-, operational- or business-related) through sound problem-solving skills.


• Motivation to educate self and others


• Proven ability to build relationships internally


• 3-5 years Elanco, or industry experience in quality or data management


• Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional interactions


• Quality SAP/master data experience in master data creation, change, and maintenance

Other Information:

• This is a two year fixed duration with the possibility to extend up to four.

• Work shift:  Full time, normal work shift, can be a US teleworker (remote)


• Travel required: 5-10%
