About Us: EMCOR Services Betlem has been in the facilities management business for over 95 years, maintaining facilities, designing, building, and servicing HVAC, refrigeration, controls, ductwork, and piping systems for new construction, renovation, and retrofit projects.


Job Title: Facilities Attendant


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Include but are not limited to the following (other duties may be assigned as well) general building maintenance as directed by client (walls, fences, ceilings, doors, parking lot patches, generator testing, etc.)

  • Provide minor HVAC, general plumbing, carpentry, and electrical service

  • Escort subcontractors and provide safety briefs (ensure proper forms are filed)

  • Quality assurance of contractors working in your assigned areas

  • Fire door, hot work permit & fire panel oversite, and fire extinguisher inspections

  • Procurement of materials as directed by client and inventory management

  • Engineering, operations, and project support

  • Electrical/lighting maintenance

  • Process work orders on internal CMMS as required

  • PM performance (complete during assigned month)

  • Workstation, office configurations and office move assistance

  • Properly arrange all schedules, details, and commitments.

  • Communicate with the client and our staff to assure customer satisfaction.

  • Notify management immediately of any significant problems.

  • Work to immediately resolve any problems that may arise.

  • Comply with corporate policy on safety, work ethics and time constraints.

  • Plan ahead on projects to ensure the highest level of productivity on the job.

  • Account for your time each week on client time tickets.


Qualifications:



  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before customers, employees, and potential employees.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, prices/costs, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of employee issues.

  • Maintain violation free driver's license, OSHA 10, NFPA 70E training, and pass NERC CIP background check if required.


Education and/or Experience:
Higher education or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 5-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Maintain a neat and clean appearance and utilize all protective equipment provided and as required.
