Help support tasks central to Field Service process improvements. This would include database development / maintenance (SQL), updates of existing code (C#), and development of new software / tools. In addition to this they would attend regular conference calls to listen to current "Pain Points" faced by the field allowing them to work towards finding innovative ways to improve processes.
We are looking for people who are keen to try something new:
Help update Internal iOS app / API to .Net 5 and fix bugs on list (est. 5 weeks work)
Help integrate Call Accept processes into Internal iOS app(est. 2 weeks work)
Help update Call Accept program from WinForms to WPF (.Net 5) (est. 3 weeks work)
Attend 3 weekly regional calls (ongoing)
Help create better tools to manage automation server (est. 3 weeks work)
Help add additional functionally (minor improvements) to Internal iOS app / API. (est. 2 weeks work)
Help intern learn process improvement techniques and demonstrate how digitalization and automation aides in process improvement. While working with both in-house and remote employees they will help update and develop code (C#) related to processes in field service. They will become familiar with SQL databases, Microsoft / Apple platforms, and program structure. They will work on our MEDUS Employee Companion (iOS) app and supporting server code.
You are:
Passed a class or worked on a C# project
SQL experience
Process Improvement Techniques
Proper code structure for individual and group projects (comments, MVVM, MCV, etc.)
Microsoft DevOps, Git, Visual Studio, and Azure usage
Apple TestFlight and Developer Community usage
Balancing multiple projects and assigning proper priority to each
Full project planning from idea to product release
