The Call Center Specialist will be responsible to receive and input information regarding accidents, incident, spill, contamination, workers comp claim into the claims system. When responding to accidents or incidents, the Call Center Specialist will be responsible for determining if a driver qualifies for a DOT vs Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing; making all customer and state notifications if applicable; and send out emails with complete loss reports to appropriate terminals and distribution list. In addition this role will handle breakdowns, fuel card issues, electronic logs, inquiries, trailer tracking, and follow-up on invoices when com checks or express checks are issued.


 


The shift for this role is: 11pm-7am M-F with rotating weekends. 


This is a temporary position. 


 


Minimum education/experience necessary to perform the job:


• High school diploma or equivalent


• 2-4 year’s transportation and/or call center experience


• Customer service experience


• Transportation experience, DOT and safety knowledge, helpful


• Experience with Microsoft Office products


• Able to handle phone work with a focus on Customer Service


• Proficient computer skills


• Ability to type 45+WPM


• Ability to self-regulate tasks and multitask with minimal supervision


• Excellent organizational and communication skills
