Job Description:

Arcadis is looking to add a Document Controls Specialist to our team in Selma, CA. This position will support the Program Management team for our California High Speed Rail project.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Assist in preparing project documentation including management plans and regular reports

  • Review contract documents and build a document control process to ensure compliance with requirements

  • Coordinates the submission and approval process for project deliverables Manage project deliverable submission process

  • Manage the Document Control/Change Control process and files for all project documents including submittals, contract changes, RFIs/RFCs, correspondence, design documents, reports, meeting minutes and other records.

  • Maintain document control/change control database systems Distribute documents and maintain controlled distribution lists

  • Preparation of various weekly and monthly reports, minutes, and records regarding contract document control/change control issues

  • Assist in preparing project start up and closeout documentation

Key Attributes:


  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu (PDF software) desirable

  • Competency in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Sharepoint.

  • Experience with ProjectWise and e-Builder or similar document management systems desirable but not essential

  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat writer desirable

Required Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years' of experience general office experience in construction and/or engineering industry
