Job Description:

Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Manager - Human Resources to provide leadership for the HR function in our Aerospace and Industrial manufacturing location in Danbury, CT. The right person will be a critical member of the site leadership team, as well as a vital part of the Schaeffler HR team.

As a demonstrated business partner, the right candidate will have a strong team oriented focus on leadership development, with capability to balance and manage day-to-day activities in a matrix organization.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Organizational development and coaching


• Employee Relations, engagement and work culture
• HR Metrics and goal achievement
• Coaching and mentoring both leadership and employees
• Identifying employee Training and Development opportunities and programs
• Administration of HR Policies & Procedures
• Talent Acquisition, On-boarding, and Retention
• Actively support and be involved in Environmental Health and Safety initiatives
• Assist in administering Company Salary and Benefits Programs

Qualified Candidates will have:

• Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Business related degree
  
  
• Must have at least 10 years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience, with non-union experience essential, and a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position
  
  
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform effectively in fast - paced environment is essential
  
  
• Excellent working knowledge and experience with MS Office is required
  
  
• SAP and Taleo experience is a plus
