The Opportunity:
We're looking to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting team in Minneapolis, MN This position will be responsible fordeveloping relationships with internal and external customers in order to influence the timeliness of cash receipts. This person will be driven by tasks and will have strong organizational and communication skills as well a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Post cash receipts


• Process credit card payments


• Make daily collection efforts via phone and email


• Initiate weekly automated receivables communications


• Review and get Project Manager feedback on job status


• Communicate and follow-up with customers on receivable status and coordinate with other areas on any incomplete items


• Prepare collection update reports for management


• Maintain an accurate aging report


• Reconcile Accounts Receivable to the General Ledger

What We're Looking For:

• At least one year of accounting and collection experience is required


• Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills, in a professional environment


• A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm and confidentiality


• Ability to perform all basic arithmetic calculations to include percentages and discounts accurately and swiftly


• Ability to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.


• Possess good problem solving and judgement skills


• Burning desire to learn and grow personally and professionally


• Ability to work independently while still being a team player who fosters positive teamwork relationships with suppliers and fellow employees


• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software quickly
