Job Description:

General Dynamic Information Technology (GDIT) is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer in Fort Huachuca, AZ. In this position your primary responsibilities will be to provide Subject Matter Expertise with hands-on-experience in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) computing automation and work to continuously improve the DevOps pipeline and tooling to provide management of the deployment global IaaS nodes.

Job Description:

• Experience with virtual infrastructure design and hands-on deployment of Cisco UCS, NetApp Storage, and VMWare


• Define Infrastructure as code models and deployment processes

• Develop Ansible Playbooks for integration with third party tools


• Design automated cloud application platform solutions, with a focus on application concerns, including cloud-ready distributed application architectures


• Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions


• Well versed with Cluster Resource management and Cloud deployment AWS/ Azure/ other cloud platforms, including monitoring systems, logging and security implementation


• In-depth Knowledge on Ansible Tower


• Lead mentorship and discussion of good practices/GIT usage/strategies for automation and integrations

Education: MA/MS or equivalent years of experience

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of software development experience


• Secret DoD Security Clearance with a T5 investigation


• 8570 certification: IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP)


• RHCS-Ansible certification or equivalent within 6 months of hire date
