Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle® Architectural and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec.

We are currently looking for a Production Operator for our Bolton plant. The chosen candidate will be mainly responsible for:

• Operating the machine (packaging line, robot-cuber, wrapper) and ensure its good functioning
• Perform Quality control on manufactured products
• Following quality manual and health and safety policies and procedures
• Operating all the equipment related to the machine.
• Preventive maintenance of equipment and troubleshooting.
• Performing operations and necessary adjustments for machine start up.
• Programing equipment in accordance to the product requested.
• Adjusting the machine and equipment in accordance to production and quality standards.
• Drive a forklift to move various items, packaged goods
• Completing quality and production reports.
• Keep working areas clean and participate in daily housekeeping tasks
• Identifying any abnormalities or faulty situations in regard to the product, quality, machine, equipment

REQUIRED Qualifications:

• Experience in Manufacturing environment
• Grade 12 completed.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Welding, mechanical, hydraulics and electrical competencies will be an asset.
• Team work, initiative, ownership and capability to react with precision.
