Knowledge of and experience with computer systems and data entry are needed, as well as the ability to develop additional computer expertise. Knowledge of medical terminology. Prior involvement in a research project preferred.
Performs a variety of independent and complex laboratory work and experiments. Analyzes and interprets data, compiles results, and prepares reports. Maintains inventory, ordering, and logs. Writes manuscripts and grant proposals and prepares data visualizations.
This position will perform professional work in a research support capacity. Duties include assisting with maintaining records of manuscripts and publications, maintaining division website, assisting with data-entry, and general research and administrative assistance. Assist clinical research coordination with obtaining patient medical records for verification of protocol eligibility. Collect and record required data from medical records. Develop and maintain multiple data sets in Excel, Access, etc. Knowledge of and experience with computer systems and data entry are needed as well as the ability to develop additional computer expertise. Knowledge of medical terminology. Must have strong record keeping as well as strong organizational skills. Responsibilities include monitoring and coordinating projects as assigned. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for interactions with co-workers and peers.
Under supervision, assist with submission of journal articles, chapters, and journal reviews. Includes assisting with layout, preparation of tables and figures, permission requests, and maintain project files.
Assures that assignments are completed on time and according to pertinent author instructions.
Ensure that data is entered completely and according to instructions of the PI.
Data collection and database entry. This includes monitoring the quality of data collection, this includes running of reports.
Position will require sitting for periods at a time.
