Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Recruits research subjects and conducts interviews and research assessments.
Essential Functions
Assist with recruitment, study coordination, scheduling appointments, obtaining oral or written consent, and data collection.
Participate in autopsy coordination for brain donations by obtaining autopsy authorization from next-of-kin, respond to family's questions/concerns, and coordinate with funeral homes and brain banking teams.
Organize outreach activities to promote participation in the National Sports Brain Bank registry and brain donation program. Will assist with updating social media platforms, preparation of newsletters, and outreach materials; will communicate with sports organizations, community organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to organize outreach events and distribution of recruitment materials.
Physical Effort
This position is primarily sedentary. However, some walking/lifting may be necessary.
