Career Center Data Analyst Internship 

  

Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior Undergraduate Student. 

  

Essential Responsibilities  


  • Passionate about data, and excited to find new ways to use data to help create new opportunities to support students.  


  • Able to organize, clean, and analyze data.   


  • Prepare reports and PowerPoint presentations to illustrate findings and conclusions.  


  • Work closely with the career center staff to provide various reports as needed.  


  • Support front desk operations by greeting and helping students and visitors.  


  • Support career center events such as employer networking nights and interview days.   


  • Perform other duties as assigned.  


  

Required Qualifications:   


  • Pursuing a Bachelors degree in an analytical field of study.  


  • At least one full-time internship or co-op job completed.  


  • Experience analyzing large data sets and drawing sound conclusions.  


  • Experience handling data with a high degree of accuracy, detail, and confidentiality.  


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.  


  • Professionalism with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.  


  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with high attention to detail.  

   

Knowledge and Skills  


  • Possess an understanding of computer applications with proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Teams.   


  • Experience using Excel REQUIRED.  


  • Experience using Handshake desired.  


  • Required: Must have completed at least one career education workshop such as SCC 101 Introduction to Career Services & Co-op, SCC 102 Resume Writing, SCC 103 Job Search Strategies, SCC 104 Interviewing Skills  


  • Required: Must have attended at least one employer event.  


  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills.  


  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.  


   

Eligibility to Work in the U.S. Required  

Required by Federal I-9 guidelines, candidates for this position must be eligible to work in the United States. Stevens Institute of Technology will not sponsor a work visa and will not accept OPT/CPT for this position.
