Role Overview:


We are searching for a teammate who values high visibility and has exceptional technical and organizational skills. This person will be well-versed and passionate about digital advertising and e-commerce. Key responsibilities will support the Sales team in scaled performance and measurement reporting, designing best-in-class operational programs, and research key opportunities.


This role will develop key insights and support the fastest-growing segment in WMC's Advertising Business. You will develop and manage operational processes while coordinating across Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to execute key projects and scale the business efficiently. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gain consensus, document, and create framework, facilitate workflow, and manage change. The ideal candidate will be an expert in data modelling, including, but not limited to: Segmentation design, quota setting, opportunity pipeline management, and organizational planning on a quarterly and annual basis. A successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent analytical abilities, and high business acumen. They must be comfortable with ambiguity, exhibit strong attention to detail, and be motivated by an entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Measurement & Reporting




  • Design, develop, and propose solutions for scaled reporting and measurement needs in collaboration with Leadership.


  • Ensure Data Quality & Integrity for all metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).


  • Develop new models and collateral that serve as 'Sources of Truth' for multiple layers of Stakeholders.


  • Manage on-going reporting and dashboards to facilitate, and anticipate, the teams' need to understand the health and attainment of the business.





Strategy & Planning




  • Develop new Input and Output metrics, that will serve as the backbone of recurring reporting rhythms, to evaluate progress and influence of the business.


  • Address strategic questions, issues, and opportunities facing the business by collaborating with leaders across Walmart Connect to build cases for, and review, initiatives.


  • Execute, maintain, and understand the WMC business and how different products, channels, and investments align with broader strategic initiatives.





Special Projects & In-Depth Analyses




  • Offer intel into trends and movement by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.


  • Support decision-making by specifying gaps and requirements in systems, tools, and processes for the business' needs.


  • Lead and conduct Ad Hoc analyses for the creation of new metrics and identifying root causes of unexpected outcomes.




Basic Requirements:




  • 5+ years of experience in a role requiring analytical skills, such as a business, data, statistical, or financial analyst (or another equivalent role) and an exceptional track record communicating across multiple audiences (technical and business) while building strategic relationships.


  • Advanced knowledge of data mining with experience extracting and processing data using various tools, experience, and skills such as: SQL, data warehousing, statistical analysis programs, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools (like Tableau or PowerBI).


  • The capability to model and simulate improvements to business processes, evaluate 'what-if' scenarios, and identify and resolve gaps before implementation.


  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to quickly identify and/or correct irregularities.


  • Capacity to independently manage multiple projects while being the go-to person for day-to-day analytical needs.


  • Ability to gather and document business requirements and user stories, propose feasible solutions, conduct technology assessments, ROI analysis, and identify complexity for potential process and system solutions.


  • Competence in managing core Sales Operations processes, such as Account Planning, Quota Development, Performance Management, and Incentive programs.


  • Ability to partner with internal technical teams (CRM, Data Warehouse, etc.) to analyze, design, and implement solutions related to insight gathering, process development and other business needs to reduce error and improve productivity.




Nice to Have:




  • Master's degree (MBA, Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field).


  • Experience supporting a world-class Sales team in process, tools (Salesforce is a plus),systems, sales quota, territory assignment, and analytics.


  • Excellent organizational skills, including prioritization, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.


  • Exposure to and understanding of digital advertising.


  • Experience working closely with a distributed sales team.

The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00-$156,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
