As a Business Systems Analyst, working closely with the Lead Business Systems Analyst and key stakeholders, you will facilitate business process improvement, system development and enhancements, and applications support. You will be responsible to develop and maintain business relationships with key individuals in the business, act as a liaison with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes and information systems while ensuring alignment to "The Manitowoc Way" and the company's goals/objectives. This position reports directly to the Lead Business Systems Analyst.  The position will sit Shady Grove, Pennsylvania.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


  • Responsible for the entire life cycle for low to medium complexity projects including but not limited to: creation of project plans, research and analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, training, and documentation.

  • Gather/analyze requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system design specifications.

  • Provide subject matter expert support of Baan/MS Access capabilities to internal and external customers.

  • Identifies and recommends alternative methods and technologies to meet business needs.

  • Demonstrate integrity, commitment to stakeholders, and a passion for excellence.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Information Systems or Management of Information Systems. Will consider applicants with a high school diploma with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Information Services or Supply Chain in lieu of degree.

  • The ideal candidate needs to understand and employ active and effective communications techniques in the day-to-day execution of this position.  This includes understanding the communications requirements of various personality types and adapting in such a way to each new communications situation to obtain the highest level of effective communication.  Project stakeholders must always feel that their problems are understood and that their needs and best interest is being served in all interactions. The ideal candidate will always strive to set and meet all expectations so that solutions are always of the highest quality.

  • Understanding of MS Office Products

  • Knowledge of SAP - desired
