EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS (MAY VARY BASED ON DEPARTMENT NEEDS).
CPR - BLS Certification required upon hire or within 1 month with onsite training and certification
Registered Medical Assistant (Per department needs)
Current Medical Assistant Certification awarded through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), the American Medical Technologists (AMT), the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or the National Healthcare Association (NHA). Medical Assistant Certification program other than those listed above will require THMG Leadership Approval.
