RESPONSIBILITIES



Responsibilities:



The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, code, customize, configurate, test, and deploy in support of enterprise cloud-based applications. Develop software solutions to meet business requirements, translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications, and design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Ensure best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. Maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Prepare & maintain code for applications and resolve defects in systems, enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, prepare an action plan and identify areas for modification and improvement. Monitor defect tracking system and resolve issues. Investigate and develop skills in new technologies. Conduct unit testing and perform code reviews. Mentor developers in their progressive growth. Adhere to established methodologies while continuously analyzing processes for improved performance and maintainability. Develop technical specifications. Participate with EA team in architecting solutions. Design, develop, and support applications based on requirements. Maintain awareness of development trends and technology improvements. Telework permitted within commuting distance.



Requirements:



Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus any job title/occupation/position involving 5 years of software development experience. Must have 5 years of experience with the following: Design patterns and their use; database design and stored procedures; object-oriented programming and design principle; Entity Framework Core and LINQ or similar ORM; Azure cloud environment, .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, TypeScript, JQuery, Kendo UI, SQL. Telework permitted within commuting distance.
