Job Summary
• Perform equipment rack fabrication and wiring and systems installation activities at customer sites and company offices.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Solder and crimp connectors where needed
• Construct equipment racks and perform metalwork fabrication where required
• Load equipment rack as per layout drawing and wire per system schematic
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues when requested by client or office
• Assist with and perform installation tasks. Duties may include but are not limited to: Pulling cable installing connectors projector mounting/hanging (ceiling mounts) and metal fabricationOther duties assigned as neededSkills and Abilities
• Effective communication and interaction with employees clients and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to test equipment and perform basic troubleshooting
• Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written
• Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skillsEducation and/or Experience
• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated working knowledge of AV practice and rack fabrication techniques
• InfoComm CTS qualification
