Job Description:

Manage systems, process and reporting business intelligence and analytics solutions in Revenue Accounting, Gross to Net, Order to Cash (SD cycle) and Customer/GPO/Distributor rebate operations.
As subject matter expert, partner cross-functionally to trouble shoot, design, develop, and implement systems and analytics solutions, automating manual efforts and strengthening internal controls.
Establish and monitor department KPIs and implement solutions to improve the quality, transparency and reporting of revenue accounting and gross to net reserve data.


  • Collaborate with IS, Sales, Finance, Contracting and Operations to develop and implement BI solutions aimed at improving end to end Order to Cash, Revenue Accounting and Gross to Net processes.

  • Build relationships and partner with cross-functional key stakeholders to define and communicate IS priorities, roadmap and reporting dashboards that monitor key performance indicators and drive business decisions.

  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure proper execution of business requirements, and ensure clear communication of the same.

  • Serve as subject matter expert on the Vistex revenue management system, ensure proper training on new functionality and coach and train other team members to drive process improvements and improve capabilities.

  • Lead system enhancements, upgrades, issue resolution with a focus on ensuring configurable controls, data transparency and user friendly performance measures and reporting.

  • Manage system data integrity, monitor accuracy and completeness of master data and pro-actively identify areas needing attention for prompt resolution.

  • Remain up to date with BI trends, including new technology and data visualizations techniques.

  • Management responsibilities include:

    • Typically oversees one or two professional employees OR typically manages non-professional employees.

    • Day-to-day operations of critical finance systems and related reporting function.

    • May have limited budgetary responsibility and usually contributes to budgetary impact.

    • Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects and develops the same for relevant systems.

    • Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies impacting system performance.

    • Provide general guidelines and parameters for team functioning.

    • Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

Minimum Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance or related fields
  • Certified in

    • SCM-Order fulfilment ECC 6.0 from SAP AG
    • S/4 HAHA Sales (1609)
    • Business Process Integration with SAP S/4HANA 1809
  • At least 5 years' experience in

    • SAP, Order to Cash and Revenue Gross to Net Systems (Vistex, Model N, Integrichain) as an Application consultant, Lead, and/or Solution Architect.
    • Web based ordering systems, SAP Based APIs, SAP based web services, BAPI and RFC Calls and IDOC based integrations.
    • Business Intelligence or/and analytics in Order Entry, Revenue Management, Gross to Net and related reserves.
    • Dashboard development experience, Tableau or other similar technology focused on GTN analytics.
    • Leveraging SQL for data analysis and performance tuning.
  • Technical

    • Expertise in SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA Sales, spanning multiple functional domains, encompassing Sales and Distribution (SD), as well as SAP Vistex IP modules, including bill backs, customer rebates, and GPO rebates.
    • Strong functional and process knowledge of end to end order processing, including gross to net deductions, delivery processing, logistics execution, billing, pricing agreements, commissions, rebates, incentives and distributor claims.
    • Expertise in configuring order management, delivery / shipping and billing functionalities.
    • Experience in S4 HANA , ECC green field Implementation and roll out projects, including upgrades, major enhancements and production support including design, development, testing, upgrades, knowledge transfer, end user training, security, legacy system interfaces and data conversions.
    • Design settlement management (Condition Contract Management) for Customer rebates.
    • Expertise in basic functions areas like pricing configuration, requirements and pricing formula routines, exclusions, setup promotions and sales deals, partner determination configuration.
    • SAP SD configuration and process experience, including experience in integration with other systems and modules.
  • Analytical

    • Experience analyzing and reporting sales deductions, customer rebates, distributor claims, incentive fees, and distribution fees data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to translate business processes or concepts into technical requirements.
    • The ability to identify financial impact of GTN operations process or data across more than one functional area or SAP module is necessary.
    • Strong business process analysis skills, lead IP configuration, in particular Vistex IP bill backs, chargebacks & rebate processes including design & configuring IP types, claims, pricing agreements, accrual and settlement profiles, composite IP etc.
    • Proficient in MS Office suite software and able to learn Medline debugging, querying, reporting and analytics tools such as SQL, HANA Studio, Tableau and other proprietary Medline tools.
  • Project Management

    • The ability to successfully interact with off-site team members and work in a matrix environment is required.
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
    • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
    • Experienced in different distributor reporting such as EDI 852, EDI 849, EDI 867, EDI 845 and EDI 844 data and related manipulation leading to improved data analytics, reserve reconciliation and financial integrity.
Preferred Job Requirements

  • Master Business Administration, Finance or IT
  • Certified in S/4 HANA Upskilling (1710)
  • Experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing them as they work.
  • Experience working with Tableau, Python or R, databases and nig data.
  • Experience working with Contract Life Cycle Management / Pricing systems
  • ITGC controls structure

The anticipated salary range for this position is $98,124 - $173,160. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
