Prepare Structural calculations packages that include light gage steel design, wind analysis for components and cladding, fastener qualification, etc.
Review project drawings and other documents for design intent to ensure IPG product is being applied in the correct manner.
Assist with product and design questions form Architects, Designers, Sales Team, Customer Service, Estimating and Detailers
Assist management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.
Prepare Product certifications and technical documents.
Participate in sales calls and job site visits as required
Prepare and present job site reports as necessary

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Structural, Civil or Mechanical)
Current EIT or ability to obtain within 9 months
Minimum three years' experience in the building products industry
Must be self-motivated, creative, and willing to learn and adapt
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and the integration of the façade to the structure

Proficiency utilizing computer resources to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple time sensitive tasks and projects

Preferences:
Licensed PE
Knowledge of all NIPG product applications and limitations
Extensive knowledge with current building code requirements
Understanding of manufacturing process and fabrication techniques of NIPG products
