Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role will be to lead a diverse team of professionals who analyze complex data sets, build robust operational reporting, map interdepartmental business processes, and implement real-time process automation (RPA) solutions. The goal of these efforts will be to drive faster adoption, higher utilization, and improved efficiency within our processes. Success will be measured through increased value creation, analytical insight, data accuracy, and the achievement of results and outcomes.


A successful candidate will be able to provide technical expertise and analytical insight to a team of seasoned data analysts and process analysts. They will be able to provide data-driven guidance to leaders, project teams, and employees at all levels across the organization. They will support the agile development of new RPA tools, complex analyses, and automated reporting platforms.


This position reports to the Director of Business Transformation and is located at the corporate headquarters in Meridian, Idaho.


To be considered for this role, you have:


Required Experience


  • 5 years' data analysis, project management, process improvement, business, or health industry experience.




Required Education


  • Bachelor's Degree Finance, Information Systems, Business, or related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college).

  • Process Improvement certification (i.e. Six Sigma, Lean, Agile)


  • Experience in Healthcare and/or Insurance industries


  • Experience with agile development teams and processes


  • Experience delivering results in a matrix team environment




Skills


  • Adept statistical analysis capabilities.


  • Sharp intuition regarding data cleanliness and structure.


  • Problem solving and root cause identification. Uses creative, innovative, and pragmatic approaches to overcome challenges.


  • Exceptional communication, both written and verbal to include active listening.


  • Acute discernment and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.


  • Work to continuously improve what is in place using an analytic and metric-based approach.


  • Ability to identify and recognize patterns for enterprise efficiency opportunities.


  • Mastery of business intelligence tools (Tableau, SQL, PowerBI, R, Python, etc.).


  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite.




In this role, we will ask you to:


  • Manage a team consisting of non-exempt and/or exempt professionals.


  • Manage the development of data reports and/or products that will enhance the retention of current market share and attract new business.


  • Recommend, acquire, and maintain software and services that support the production of required statistics, data files, and documentation.


  • Develop and ensure effective workflows, maximize systems, monitor the quality of performance, and streamline processes.


  • Provide recommendations to maintain department efficiencies and improve processes while remaining fiscally responsible.


  • Lead report-based analytics to evaluate success, driving insights for delivery to senior leadership.


  • Develop, build, and monitor key metrics providing recommendations to stakeholders.


  • Perform other duties as assigned.
