RSi is seeking a Cost Analyst Subject Matter Expert to join our team supporting our customer on Redstone Arsenal.

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Working as part of an integrated cost analyst team, the cost analyst will perform a wide variety of cost and economic analyses/estimating/engineering support directly interfacing with program offices and assisting the development and presentation of management level briefings as needed.
• Work may include parametric cost estimating, life cycle cost analysis, cost estimating relationships and model development, cost risk analysis, performance measurement (earned value), project forecasting and risk assessment, cost-benefit analysis, and software cost estimating.
• Additional support includes, but is not limited to, the areas of strategy development, scheduling, market research, evaluation criteria development, pre-solicitation documentation review, RFP documentation, Independent Program Review documentation, cost estimates and key decision point’s preparation, and trade studies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
• Experience preparing cost estimates and budgets for major Department of Defense (DoD) programs and commercial off the shelf programs is highly desirable.
• Successful candidates must possess and/or have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Skills Required

• The position requires a minimum of five years of experience cost estimating and analysis.
• Experience with cost estimating such as learning curves, inflation, regression, Operations & Support estimating, statistics, cost estimating principles/ DoD acquisition policies and have a working knowledge of the DoD acquisition and project management process.
• Must have the ability to gather and analyze technical, programmatic, schedule, labor and cost data to support the development of various types of cost estimates.
• DoD Program Office experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of ACEIT (www.aceit.com) is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal communication, written, and quantitative analytical skills are required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Required Experience/Education: (i.e.: Knowledge, skills, abilities, software, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.

Security Clearance Requirement: Secret

(applicants selected for positions requiring a Security Clearance will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information)

Preferred Experience: (i.e.: Knowledge, skills, abilities, software, etc.)

• Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tool (ACEIT)

This position may be eligible for work from home flexibility subject to customer requirements.
