Job Description:

The Bodyshop Supervisor is responsible for the body shop, parts department, the setup, and coordination of training for all assigned associates. They will supervise repairs of BMW, MINI, and Rolls Royce vehicles in accordance with BMW quality standards. Motivate, manage, and supervise associates as a group and evaluate individual performance. Ensure that units are processed on time according to the department KPIs, meet BMW group quality standards and dealer expectations, and are processed cost efficiently.

Additional responsibilities include:


  • Drive the continual quality and process improvements for body and parts departments.

  • Ensure adequate tools and equipment are available and maintained.

  • Responsible for the implementation of BMW Group recommended procedures and quality standards.

  • Monitor and set objectives for associates: manage time off schedules, processing times, and quality in all areas of responsibility.

  • Assign work appropriately to each associate working in their respective areas to ensure maximum productivity. Monitor the performance of associates and take all appropriate action.

  • Stay current with repair policies and procedures.

  • Work with shops manager on employee engagement and development.

  • Monitor compliance, health, and safety regulations in work area, including PPE.

The salary for this role starts at $65,000.00.

The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a team in a production environment.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience automotive in paint and body work.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferences

  • ColorSystems experience is preferred but not required.
