Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership’s assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.



The Senior Crude Oil Quality Assurance Coordinator reports to the Quality Assurance Director and is responsible for overseeing product quality for a pipeline and terminal system transporting crude oil.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:




  • Management of product quality program elements including:


    • Policies, procedures, processes for sampling and testing crude oil samples.

    • Interpretation of test results.

    • Field audits of Enterprise and third party locations.

    • Interpretation of product specifications.


  • Knowledgeable of crude oil types, properties, additives, and pipeline operations as they impact product quality.

  • Provide subject matter expertise for crude oil test methods and techniques including training, troubleshooting problems, instrument calibration and routine maintenance.

  • Ensure compliance with product quality, environmental and personnel exposure guidelines.

  • Support the resolution of product quality issues.

  • Point of contact for customer analytical concerns, retained sample testing, and analytical dispute resolution.

  • Point of contact for pipeline system analytical equipment issues and concerns.

  • Supports the specification of new analytical equipment for purchase.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:



  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience is required.

  • 5-15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry is required.

  • Experience with crude oil terminal, marine terminal, and pipeline operations is required.

  • Extensive experience and knowledge of crude oil testing is required.

  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems, analytical calculations and data storage software is preferred.

  • Negotiating, influence management, and customer service skills are required.

  • Must be results oriented and possess excellent communication skills.

  • Computer skills including the use of Microsoft applications Word, Excel, and Power Point is required.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time is required.
