We are hiring a helpdesk/desktop support to start immediately for a Law Firm in newport beach.
This is a 4 to 6 weeks' contract position with possibility to hire (most likely with candidate with law firm experience)
This is 100% on site in newport beach
Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5:30 PM
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Providing on-site/as needed desk side training to local branch users for convenience tasks.
Responsible for handling phone and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, document management system, standard Windows desktop applications, phone systems and other technologies.
Providing hands on support, when necessary, to identify, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network related problems experienced by end users in a multi-site network.
Utilizing Service Desk application to update, resolve, and/or escalate, incidents, requests and problems in a timely manner.
Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation pool.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Strong desire to work in a team environment
Attention to detail, ability to balance multiple projects and strong time management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and to remain calm under pressure
Proficiency supporting Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint)
