Job Description:

Infosys is seeking JAVA Lead Developer . The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to Apache Gateway and Apache Kafka. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin,TX or be willing to relocate to this location prior to Onboarding. This position may require travel in the US .


• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience


• At least 3+ years of experience in Java/J2EE. Hands on experience in Webmethods.


• In-depth knowledge in Spring Frameworks.


• Experience in Apache Gateway/ Other API Management solutions (non Webmethods API Management Solutions)


• Experience in Apache Kafka


• Strong knowledge in Java/JEE Technologies with in-depth knowledge on Spring frameworks such as Spring Boot with micro-services, Spring-Security, Spring MVC, Spring Data, JPA and Hibernate.


• Must have hands on with Spring reactive and Spring WebFlux.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions .


• High level knowledge on enterprise app deployment using CI/CD


• Strong communication and collaboration skills.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in technology and incorporate them into our solutions.

The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
