Join the Tactical Products Department Signal & Embedded Technologies team, to support implementing system capabilities on mobile platforms for intelligence and surveillance applications.
Objectives of this Role:
Work with multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians in the execution of complex R&D programs in support of national security.
Oversight of production and assembly projects; working with engineering and technicians to implement design approaches to meet project requirements.
Interaction with technical staff and customers; interpretation of project technical and management data.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Collaborate directly with Electrical and Mechanical engineers to develop systems and subsystems electronic hardware.
Will work in a team environment as well as independently to complete assigned tasks with direct supervision.
Responsibilities include production/assembly in accordance with engineering drawings and schematics; coordinating technicians in daily assembly/test tasking; work with engineering team to advise on implementation approaches; communicating status with program management.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering Technology or related degree field or Associates in Electronics Engineering Technology, High School Diploma or equivalent with continued education, certifications and related work experience.
6-10 years: Professional level experience in printed wiring board design. Soldering and Cable Crimping certificates preferred.
5-10 years: Experience in complex electronics assembly and test; Work knowledge of electronics schematics; Experience in production of military qualified systems and electronics.
5-10 years: Leadership skills in relation to leading and mentoring technical staff on production/test activities.
25 years of experience is required for those without a Bachelors degree.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
