Responsible for leading execution of Front Book/Net New strategies that drive PayPal's corporate objectives and commercial growth strategies across the Enterprise space.

Overall Objectives:


  • Responsible for leading execution of Enterprise strategies that drive PayPal's corporate objectives and commercial growth strategies across the enterprise space.

  • Provide leadership, ensure sales execution and resource stewardship to Enterprise Sales team to maximize sales performance and ROI

  • KPIs: Acquisition, product launch, revenue, operational efficiency



Key responsibilities include:


  • Achieving the sales team's targets and productivity targets. KPIs include revenue attainment customer acquisition, product launch, and operational efficiency.

  • Create an environment and culture within the department which supports year-on-year increases in performance

  • Build and foster a creative, innovative approach to sales while ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of daily, weekly, and monthly contractual performance levels across each KPI, showing understanding of any weak area and having clear action plans in place to overcome

  • Responsible for forecasting, reporting, quota assignments/rollout, and other operational aspects of the sales process. Optimizing, managing, and operationally implementing PayPal's business development and sales strategy.

  • Leading, coaching, training, mentoring, and monitoring the sales team so they achieve personal targets and ultimately, team targets

  • Work closely with direct reports to produce clear development plans for all, aimed at increasing performance levels and building successful succession planning

  • Operational and disciplinary management of the Inside Sales Team

  • Maintain sales staff by recruiting, onboarding, and training employees in conjunction with the PayPal Training Department, performing employee reviews and evaluations.

  • Work with peer managers to leverage best practices and provide consistent coaching on sales and operational excellence to drive target achievement.

  • Conduct one-on-ones with the direct reports to review results versus targets set and set action plans if required.



Requirements/Experience:


  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales revenue goals and productivity metrics.

  • Experience of working in an Inbound and outbound sales B2B solution selling environment as a leader, with evidence of coaching, developing, and motivating staff

  • A hands-on mentality and excellent people management skills, capable of inspiring people with your drive, energy, and enthusiasm. Following a clear vision and strategy you communicate and lead with a dynamic and convincing attitude.

  • Strong leadership skills and strong execution, results-driven and proven track record of holding teams accountable for end results

  • The person in this position will need to build strong relationships with other departments in order to accomplish tasks and achieve goals. The ability to build relationships across key stakeholders is critical.

  • Maintain a level of teamwork by incorporating a positive attitude, being supportive in words and actions, embodying the core values of PayPal, and communicating with all levels both within the existing team & anyone outside the direct reporting structure.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform well in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment. Maintain a high level of job discretion. Performance is evaluated against the ability to make judgment calls, the ability to make sound decisions, a desire to make decisions, displaying a heightened level of accountability, demonstrating a sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Volunteering for special projects, identifying oneself as a go-to individual, flexibility with change, and a passion for the product and company.

  • Fluent English speaker

  • Proven track record of B2B sales

  • 10+ years of sales experience

  • 8+ years of leadership experience



Education


  • College Degree or equivalent work experience



Additional skill requirements:


  • Proven track record of operational excellence driving P&L

  • Ability to "see past the numbers" and apply creative concepts to devise solutions

  • Demonstrated record of executing against goals with a true executive mindset (e.g., builds a disciplined environment, knows when to get in the details vs. delegate)

  • Operates with a high sense of urgency and ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
