Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing works with the nursing staff assessing, treating, and creating care plans for patients with complex wound conditions. RESPONSIBILITIES, but not limited to

Consult and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity.

• Assist nursing, rehabilitation, and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care.


• Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

Successful candidates will have the following:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN in S.C.


• Wound care certification for LPN's (Required)


• Experience as a dedicated Wound Nurse (required)


• Experience in LTC facility (required)


• Current CPR certification
