As a Web Analytics Developer at ARETUM, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and optimization of web analytics solutions for our government clients, leveraging data to drive key business decisions and improve online user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Web analytics developer will act as a Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) specialist-engineer.
• Web analytics developer is a hands-on implementation engineer who would be responsible to select the ideal approach to track features, create appropriate tags and triggers, modify the JavaScript and HTML code, and ensure that the right scripts are put on the page and in the data layer.
• Analyze the tracking outcomes in Google Analytics (GA) and train the stakeholder team on how to use this data best in GA.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, JavaScript, and Google Analytics
• Proficiency in creating custom triggers, tags, and variables within GTM Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML for custom code implementations.
• Experience in managing analytics for a high-volume of GA properties Knowledge of the data layer and data engineering implementation.
• Experience with the implementation of Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager in brand-new properties with no prior tracking installed.
• Expert ability to understand event tracking strategies, change GA settings to improve data collection, understand user permissions and analytics set up
• Google Analytics / GTM certification preferred Data Analytics certification preferred 4-5 years in tag management platform or data engineering experience.
• Minimum Secret Security Clearance (or Interim) is required before start.
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence or similar tools.
