Retirement Unlimited is a premier provider of Residential Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care is seeking a Director of Lifestyle & Hospitality.
The Lifestyle and Hospitality Director oversees and manages the Life Enrichment functions of the community. The Director of Lifestyle & Hospitality will orchestrate, curate, and oversee an array of events and experiences tailored to the discerning tastes and refined preferences of this unique senior living campus that includes independent living and assisted living. In this highly visible role, the Director will act as the Master of Ceremonies for social events and programs by keeping residents informed of on whats going on around the campus, coordinating a vibrant community life through signature programs, clubs and committees, and a variety of experiences to enrich the lives of residents with sophistication and fulfillment and in accordance with the companys objectives for each month and under the programming supervision of the Corporate Director of Engagement.
Direct the social programming functions, meticulously planning and executing a calendar of life-enriching events that cater to the diverse interests and backgrounds of residents.Monitor resident responses to the events, create plans to improve customer service and coach staff on how to improve resident experiences.Coordinate community engagement opportunities through the establishment of resident led clubs & committees.Cultivate strategic partnerships with esteemed institutions, such as colleges, universities, and cultural organizations, to elevate RUI University Lifelong Learning offerings and provide exclusive access to enriching experiences.Liaise with Heads of Department for inter-department communications to ensure quality resident experiences.Develop and manage a robust volunteer program, leveraging community relationships to create meaningful engagement opportunities for residents.Partner with the Personal Trainer onsite to schedule RUI FIT health and wellness exercise classes and events.Oversee the schedule and services of the Leash on Life Pet Concierge program- assisting residents with care of their pets.Foster a culture of excellence among staff and volunteers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the seamless execution of our signature programs.Collaborate with marketing to conceptualize and execute captivating community and resident events that showcase the epitome of luxury living.Curate and oversee resident clubs and committees, fostering a sense of camaraderie and belonging within the community.Oversee transportation services and organize bespoke outings and excursions to exclusive events and lectures, promoting an active and independent lifestyle synonymous with our upscale community.Develops, implements, and manages varied and innovative Life Enrichment programs to enhance the emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and intellectual well-being of the residents throughout the campus.Arrange and oversees the Community Ambassador program for all new residents and ensures the Oral History is taken.Develops and maintains a working knowledge of all RUI policies and procedures pertaining to the position, the department, and the personnel.Assists the Executive Director in establishing a Community Resident Council and/or forums to ensure customer satisfaction and follow up for concerns and/or suggestions. Successfully utilizes designated computer programs to prepare and distribute the communitys monthly Life Enrichment calendar, daily notices, and all Life Enrichment advertising in a timely, appropriate manner.Utilizes Resident Engagement Tracking procedures, trains Life Enrichment staff for effective and consistent use, and reports to VP of Engagement and RUI University as requested.
