JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for cleaning all areas of the feed mill on a daily basis. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) non-exempt position.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position reports directly to the Assistant Mill Manager. There are no supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean mill and mill grounds.
- Unload incoming bag ingredients.
- Assist with unloading grain trains.
- Assist in mill inventories as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience preferred.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
- Position involves light to medium walking, climbing stairs and ladders, standing, stooping, shoveling and sweeping, carrying and lifting of medium to heavy-weight materials (between 50 and 100 pounds).
- Requires speaking and hearing ability sufficient to hear over phone and carry on routine conversations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Heights, dusty, confined space, and working outdoors. Requires dust mask (company-provided).
