About this role:
The Business Analyst Sr. will work effectively with team members in delivering a large change program for the Veterans Administration. The Business Analyst Sr. will play a crucial role in driving business success by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency. This role offers the opportunity for collaboration, innovation, and professional growth within a dynamic work environment. The Business Analyst should have working knowledge of change management principles and tools, as well as the ability to write and edit project documentation. They will support a program delivering management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership to the Veterans Administration.

Position Responsibilities:
Interact with the team and client to identify business needs, as well as project scope and requirements Conduct studies or assist with writing Congressionally Mandated Reports and Congressional Tracking Reports in support of legislative requirementsPreparation of draft findings, written reports, slide decks and dashboardsDevelopment of action trackers, project artifacts, project deliverables, and decision logsProactively manage actions, issues, and risks to ensure project successOrganize, collect, analyze data quality, and identify data issuesAnalysis of policy, legislation, and innovations, the impact of such legislation on the Veteran populationSupport the creation and development of IMS, value stream mappings and roadmapsProduce and deliver detailed status reports and briefings, along with periodic presentationsDevelop recommendations related to development and implementation of metrics, dashboards and data sources for evaluation of current and new initiatives.Draft deployment and implementation plan and training materialProvide support in the review, development and of existing and future healthcare policy, regulation and legislation related to the delivery of care and services across the VHAReview deliverables for accuracy in content, grammar, and formatting, while ensuring compliance to VA quality specificationsProvide support to assist in development of a VHA outreach campaign related to legislative requirementsCollaborate and interface with project team, stakeholders, including business leaders, staff, vendors, and service partnersOther duties as assigned
