The primary focus of this role is to address platform inquiries with speed and accuracy and perform to required service level agreements (SLAs). You will perform transactional functions to support business and associate team members' requests. Understand Ingram Micro's processes and solutions. Effectively resolve issues with accuracy, tact, and speed. Under moderate supervision, you perform transactional functions and duties. You review and verify the accuracy of the request and transaction and complete the transaction accordingly while supporting platform adoption on Xvantage.

Key Responsibilities


  • Maintain data integrity

  • Optimize business processes

  • Identify opportunities to increase usage of platform

  • Work closely with Account Managers and Business Owners to convert opportunities to outcomes

  • Generate data quality reports, metrics and provide insights

  • Provide support to a team of sales (inside/outside) representatives.

  • Prepares product/license quotes as needed for pre-sales customers.

  • Responsible for processing complex customer transactions and/or updating, correcting, or altering transactions outside of the platform.

  • Handle inquiries and resolve complex support issues with the customer, vendor, and associate team members to help deliver an outstanding customer experience.

  • Evaluate transactional processes and recommend and implement improvements to processes that will improve the customer experience, internal processes, and SLAs beyond your assigned responsibilities. Responsible to lead those activities and projects

What experience, knowledge and skills does a Platform Specialist need?


  • Knowledge of professional, effective communication techniques and customer care.

  • Understanding of Ingram Micro programs, services, and products.

  • Skilled in personal computing including Microsoft programs such as Outlook and Excel.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work as a team member.

  • Analyze data to provide meaningful insights and trends.

  • Able to prioritize and operate with urgency and results oriented.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $39,800.00 - $63,700.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
