Overview

The Product and Content Marketing Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining product content to support a growing e-commerce website for an industry-leading distributor of OEM and aftermarket parts used on industrial and on-highway engines, transmissions, and heavy-duty equipment.

Responsibilities


  • Responsibilities cover activities throughout the full item lifecycle from product availability through retirement. Key focuses include product and industry research, content development for the web and other channels, product information management, content management, technical writing, and issue research and resolution. As a part of the eCommerce Team, the position will closely coordinate with the Oracle Item Setup, Digital Marketing, Pricing, and Inside Sales teams. This position will work under the guidance of the Director - eCommerce and Manager - Product Content and Development.

  • Essential Duties

  • Research information to create product content utilizing vendor websites, databases, and other sources.

  • Write new, unique product content utilizing Salesforce software and other tools.

  • Create keywords, identify related parts, and develop metadata for search engine optimization.

  • Write new, unique blog content.

  • Review existing content and product data to identify issues and drive issues to closure.

  • Update website content, marketing materials, and blogs as required.

  • Assist the Marketing and Inside Sales Teams with questions and customer requests as required.

  • Identify item data issues or discrepancies and coordinate resolution with the Oracle Item Setup team.

  • Identify pricing issues or discrepancies and resolve with the Pricing team.

  • Competency with utilizing spreadsheets and data tools for data analysis.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Prior experience with Oracle EBS and Salesforce systems is preferred, not required.

  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of engines, transmissions, and related parts is preferred.

  • Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) strategies is a bonus.
