JB Poindexter & Co. or "JBPCO" is seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Specialist to lead and execute our marketing strategy across our diverse business units. This role is a hybrid of a general marketing specialist and a marketing project lead, designed to drive brand growth and manage marketing projects from inception to completion. The Senior Marketing Specialist will work under the Director of Brand Management and Digital Strategy to centralize core marketing functions, support business units, and ensure cohesive brand messaging and digital presence across all platforms to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Sales Process Optimization: Analyze and refine our end-to-end sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks in the sales cycle.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all digital platforms and marketing materials, working closely with the marketing and creative teams.
  • Project Management: Lead marketing projects, overseeing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful execution and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Tradeshow Management: Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing tradeshow participation across all relevant business units, including booth design, logistics, promotional materials, and staff training, to maximize brand exposure and lead generation opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between the central marketing team and individual business units, facilitating communication and resource sharing to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with business unit marketing teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns that align with JBPCO's overall objectives and support individual business unit needs.
  • Content Development: Create engaging and persuasive content in support of marketing campaigns.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing campaign performance and digital metrics, adjusting tactics as necessary to achieve key performance indicators and return on investment. Monitor campaign budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize results.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in both general marketing management and project management roles.
  • Must possess a high level of business acumen including working knowledge of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, return on investment (ROI), and cost-benefit analysis. Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions and articulate expected and actual financial returns of marketing investments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex marketing projects from conception to execution.
  • Working level knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce) to track customer interactions, segment audiences, and personalize marketing messaging.
  • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and/or related content creation platforms required.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organization skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse business units.
  • Experience in commercial trucks or transportation a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
