Education:

  • Associates degree from an accredited university. Preferred in engineering or related technical field (or equivalent).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years' experience in sales or customer service activities of a technically oriented business;

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Effective in managing the demands of both the business and the customer

  • Able to build strong and effective working relationships at all levels, both externally as well as internally

  • Able to travel extensively

Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is looking for a System Specialist to provide technical support to HFS clients including demonstration and installation of tooling, technical and troubleshooting support and specialized training of operators and maintenance employees in the maintenance and repair of HFS Tooling systems. This position is also responsible for assisting engineering and sales representative in analyzing client problems and evaluating new designs for installation equipment. Role and Responsibilities:


  • Designs and provides technical training on equipment usage, maintenance and repair for major customers;

  • Provides technical and troubleshooting support to customers on the complete fastener installation system;

  • Conducts product demonstrations, with Sales Representatives for customers, trade shows and other organizations as directed;

  • Provides technical advice and assistance to Sales Representatives in the capacity of Senior System Specialist;

  • Sources and develops additional sales opportunities for HFS products whenever possible, at various levels of the customer's organization;

  • Makes customer contacts to review tooling systems to provide recommendations, feedback, training, and guidance on the complete HFS System;

  • Provides input to Engineering on new tool designs and changes for product development;

  • Other Duties as assigned.
