We are seeking a full-time Alignment Technician (2nd Shift) in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for applying electronic theory, electrical testing procedures and related knowledge to align, troubleshoot and repair production electronic sub-assemblies.
Essential Functions
Perform sub-assembly alignments and tuning in accordance with Engineering procedures
Set up standard test equipment and conduct functional, operational, environmental and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production products
Analyze and interpret test data
Adjust, calibrate, align and modify circuitry and components and record effects on unit performance
Record test/alignment procedures and results, defects, repair history, numerical and graphical data
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds while using safe lifting techniques and standing for an entire shift
Compliance with HRD-003 (Garmin's Attendance Policy) and DOT (Department of Transportation) Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology, Vocational Certification in Electronics Technology, OR a substantially related field of Military training, OR a minimum of 80 hours towards a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Technology or related field OR an Electronic Technician Certification (International Society of Certified Electronic Technicians (ISCET) OR Electronic Technicians Associate International (ETA-I))
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds while using safe lifting techniques and standing for an entire shift
